With a generous 500 litre capacity, this composter is ideal for managing larger amount of waste with ease.
To make healthy, valuable compost you need the right ingredients, carbon and nitrogen at a 30:1 ratio, i.e. sawdust and human waste deposits along with the correct balance of water and oxygen for the microbes to breath. As these composters don’t have access directly to the earth I highly recommend adding a fine layer of soil to the compost which will provide magic thermophilic microbes to activate your compost. Feel free to add kitchen and garden waste, this will aid the process.
It has internal air ducts that take oxygen into the compost mass. This adjustable ventilation system promotes airflow for efficient breakdown of waste and a temperature gauge to monitor the internal temperature of the compost.

They have a large, lightweight primary lid for daily use which is top-loading allowing for convenient waste disposal and a large lid that can be lifted off for major maintenance operations
The large, easy-access compost removal hatch at the bottom of the bin has a strong and easy to use lock and makes compost removal simple.
There’s a seep liquid separation plate at the bottom and on the rear wall, a connector for the seep-liquid outlet hose. Pipe this into a small 5 litre collection container and put it back into the composter, mixing with biolans bulking agent or wood chippings and sawdust.
It is possible to connect a 75 mm outlet pipe to the outlet air valve on the lid, for example, if the composter is installed indoors / in a roofed space
